Special Note: There is no data for the month of October, due to lack of sufficient market data. This report covers the month of November, 2003, and reflects change in data from the last reporting period of September, 2003.

The strong resurgence across most job markets continues. We now believe that the turnaround we witnessed in mid-to-late summer reflects the moment when the job market in North America finally turned around.

Our confidence in the growing strength of the job market comes from the strong showing of previously weak sectors. Markets that were weakest during the recession (IT, Tech, Telecom, Business Consulting) are actually beginning to lead the way as hiring begins again.

Additionally, we are encouraged by the way hiring is returning to broad economic markets, such as Advertising, Sales and even Entertainment/Hospitality. Especially notable is the resurgence in the Customer Service/Retail sector. The holiday season of course brings a cyclical upswing in hiring, but even seasonality cannot wholly explain the strength of hiring we are seeing.

The above reporting is taken from polled evidence and personal impressions, collected from the career professionals at ResumeWriters.com.
